Job summary

TrustedQA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the Distributed Training System (DTS) development in support of the C2BMC program in Colorado Springs.

The role requires translating high-level mission objectives into field-ready, safe, and compliant solutions while collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups. You will guide system integration from concept through deployment, leveraging missile-defense experience and strong communication skills to shape technical decisions and

Job description

TrustedQA, Inc. was awarded a contract in November 2024 to provide ongoing engineering and technical support to the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program in Colorado Springs through 2034. We are currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for our Distributed Training System (DTS)— a system developed and sustained as part of the C2BMC program, alongside the Training Support System (TSS) and Missions Specific Vendor Plug-in (MSVP) operator training devices.

Position Responsibilities

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership for the system's DTS development. The ideal candidate will serve as a versatile systems engineer who bridges the gap between high-level mission objectives and concrete, field-ready solutions. They must be comfortable navigating complex missile defense environments, collaborating with multiple stakeholder groups, and driving technical decisions from concept through integration while maintaining rigorous safety and performance standards.

Key Qualifications

• Systems engineering, design, development, and integration.
• Missile defense modeling tools, for e.g.
  • OSM - Open Systems Architecture Sensor Model
  • EADSim — Extended Air Defense Simulation, MDST
  • Missile Defense Space Warning Tool
  • SSF — Single Stimulation Framework
• Ballistic missile defense and integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) systems
• Skilled at translating high-level needs into a coherent, integrated set of requirements that drive a fielded product
• Leadership capability
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Training system development and implementation, especially for missile defense training and exercises, is a plus.
