Job summary

SciTec Incorporated seeks a Quality Assurance / Test Lead for a large software system supporting emergent missile defense needs. You will plan, execute, and refine verification activities across system, integration, and performance testing, collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in defense or complex systems, strong SDLC testing experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in system integration, test, or verification in defense/complex systems.
• Experience with system-level verification and validation (V&V).
• Experience with the four layers of testing in the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Experience developing or executing test plans and procedures.
• Ability to analyze system behavior against requirements and document results.
• Strong understanding of integration environments and test workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience supporting system integration, test, or verification activities in a defense or complex systems environment
• Experience with system-level verification and validation (V&V)
• Experience with the four layers of testing in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience developing or executing test plans and test procedures
• Ability to analyze system behavior against requirements, derived test criteria,and document results
• Strong understanding of integration environments and test workflows
• Experience collaborating across technical teams and stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance

Candidates who have any of the following skills will be preferred:

• A current active DoD SECRET security clearance or higher
• Experience contributing to verification strategy development
• Experience supporting Missile Warning, space, or similar mission systems
• Experience working across multiple programs or system components
• Experience supporting customer-facing test events or demonstrations
• Experience in Agile or hybrid development environments

The pay range for this position is $140,000 to 176,000 / year. SciTec considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
