Job summary

Axiado is seeking a System Engineer (PIT) specialized in AI Server Bring-up to drive the integration of our Secure AI™ engine into high-performance computing environments. You will leverage deep expertise in Linux kernel internals and low-level communication protocols (MCTP, eSPI, LTPI) to build robust, secure, and reliable server management solutions for global customers.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of firmware engineering experience in embedded systems and platform integration.
• Proficiency in C, C++, assembly, shell scripting and Python for firmware development.
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals and IPC.
• Strong knowledge of low‑level protocols: I2C, I3C, GPIO, USB, LTPI, SGPIO, UART, MCTP, eSPI.
• Experience in BMC porting and adapting solutions to custom hardware.
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and ARM architectures.
• Knowledge of firmware architecture including bare-metal programming and security implementations.
• OpenBMC stack experience and capability to customize/integrate for platforms.

Responsibilities

• Implement firmware features enabling communication with peripherals via SPI, I2C, SGPIO, LTPI, PCIe and related protocols.
• Collaborate with customers to provide technical guidance and support for platform integration.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across diverse customer environments with innovative solutions.
• Ensure security including secure boot and platform root of trust across systems.
• Integrate Secure AI engine solutions into customer platforms and develop/maintain BMC software.
