Job summary

HD Hyundai Power Transformers USA is hiring an IT Engineer (System Engineer) to own the enterprise systems behind our power-transformer manufacturing operations. You will manage the ERP environment, build ADP HCM integrations, and drive SOC 2 compliance in collaboration with HQ in Korea.

The role requires hands-on technical depth, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on standardizing core systems to improve reliability and governance across the full stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field.
• 2+ years of IT experience.
• Korean-English bilingual proficiency for HQ coordination.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA including PS module.
• Knowledge of IT security controls and SOC 2 audits.
• Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and reporting.
• Experience designing database schemas and data modeling.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise systems behind manufacturing ops and drive improvements across ERP, HCM, and in-house apps.
• Serve as on-site liaison with HQ IT for SAP S/4HANA and ERP environments.
• Administer ERP user environment and access controls; coordinate UAT and deployments.
• Coordinate SOC 2 audit readiness and engage cross-functional teams with external auditor.
• Develop and integrate ADP HCM systems and ensure data accuracy across ERP.
• Design and build in-house full-stack apps to digitize core processes and SOC 2 controls.
