HD Hyundai Power Transformers USA, Inc. is seeking an IT Engineer (System Engineer) to own and improve the enterprise systems behind our power-transformer manufacturing operations in Montgomery, AL.

You will manage the SAP S/4HANA ERP environment, integrate HCM (ADP), and drive SOC 2 compliance across the IT stack, from design through operations. You will partner closely with end users and HD Hyundai HQ in Korea, translating business needs into reliable, well-governed systems while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2+ years of IT experience.
• Korean–English bilingual proficiency (business-essential): full professional reading and writing in Korean is required for daily coordination with HQ, ERP operations, and the SOC 2 audit.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA including the PS module, understanding project-based manufacturing processes in ERP.
• Working knowledge of IT security controls and SOC 2 compliance, including support for external SOC 2 Type II audits.
• Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval, validation, and reporting.
• Experience designing database schemas, including relational data modeling, normalization, and schema definition for application development.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise systems behind our manufacturing operation and improve ERP environment.
• Serve as on-site liaison with HQ IT for the SAP S/4HANA and legacy ERP environment.
• Administer ERP user environment including provisioning and access controls.
• Coordinate UAT and validate ERP changes deployed by HQ.
• Coordinate SOC 2 Type II audit readiness across IT infrastructure and controls.
• Build and operate ADP HCM system to meet HR standards and integrate with ERP.
• Develop in-house full-stack applications to digitize core business processes.
• Ensure SOC 2-compliant design with security controls and audit logging.
• Maintain English-language SOPs and support onboarding across departments.
• Support cross-cultural collaboration with HQ in Korea.
