Job summary

HD Hyundai Power Transformers USA is seeking an IT System Operation Engineer to manage enterprise IT/OT environments in a Montgomery facility. The role emphasizes system administration, security, and reliability across desktops, servers, networks, and storage, with emphasis on uptime and data protection.

The candidate should have 3+ years in enterprise IT, Windows Server 2019+, AD/GPO/Exchange Online, and familiarity with Cisco, EMC, and VMware.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise IT environments.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Hands-on with Windows Server 2019+ and AD, GPO, Exchange Online administration.
Experience with UTP and Fiber Optic cabling.
Basic virtualization knowledge (VMware).
Strong proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 apps.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP and core network services.
Knowledge of Firewall, IPS, NAC concepts.
Familiarity with Cisco gear and EMC storage.
Ability to support WiFi OT devices.

Responsibilities

Maintain and administer networks and IT environments including hardware, OS, software, and configurations.
Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime.
Monitor and maintain enterprise network and CCTV infrastructure for performance.
Administer core infrastructure systems such as file sharing, badge, voice, PA, WLC, networking gear, backups.
Perform root-cause analysis and document manuals for the team.
Execute regular backups for WLC, voice servers, badge and CCTV systems.
Research and deploy new hardware and software to improve performance and security.
Maintain IT asset management and physical storage.
Support IT projects and other duties as assigned.
