Innova Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer in Plano, TX for a 12-month contract with potential to hire. The role emphasizes model-based planning, system integration, and full lifecycle verification and validation.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience (or a graduate degree with 2+ years; 8+ years if no degree) and must have an active Secret clearance. Pay is $75–$78 per hour.

Job Description

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Systems Engineer .

Position Type: Full Time Contract, Contract to hire

Duration: 12 months

Location: Plano TX

As a Systems Engineer, you will:

• Performs model-based technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Knowledge of the Cameo MBSE and the SysML language is required.
• Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management.
• May manage projects or processes with general supervision.
• Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Recommends enhancements to systems and processes.
• Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
• This Position needs Active Secret Security Clearance.

Ideal candidate will have

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range*: $75-$78 per hour
