Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a System Engineer III, Firewalls, to support the Network Infrastructure and Security Engineering team. You will handle firewall administration, VPN configuration, address translation, routing, IPAM, network segmentation, SD-WAN, and related security operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years of related experience; or 9 years with HS diploma; Masters with 3+ years preferred.
• Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network security devices (firewalls, NAC, monitoring).
• Strong interpersonal, project management, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for network security services and resolve complex issues.
• Lead projects and coordinate with stakeholders to improve efficiency.
