Job summary

M.C. Dean, located in Tysons, Virginia, seeks a System Engineer 3 for its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to design, engineer, integrate, and operate cyber-physical security solutions for federal and commercial customers.

This role covers data center infrastructure, virtualization, and secure IT systems across multi-site environments. You will contribute to roadmaps, designs, and deployment plans while ensuring DoD IT security standards, with Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline with 5+ years of progressive experience.
• Experience implementing hardware/software solutions for data center and virtualization.
• Strong background with DoD IT security requirements (STIG/SRGs) and IAT-level skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analysis, evaluation, engineering, and deployment of system improvements.
• Develop roadmaps and implement designs for large multi-site data center infra.
• Document designs, implementation plans, and test/failover plans for data center environments.
• Collaborate with partners to prototype emerging technologies and secure solutions.
