Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking a senior Systems Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to lead Authorization Services initiatives. The role requires extensive SE experience, government coordination, and the ability to draft and deploy modern IT infrastructure solutions with government approvals.

Familiarity with ServiceNow and relevant certifications is preferred. The candidate will analyze processes, produce documentation, and collaborate across stakeholder teams to ensure secure, compliant

Qualifications

• Must have active TS/SCI with full-scope polygraph clearance.
• Twenty (20) years of SE experience in programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze Authorization Services processes, procedures, practices and technical solutions.
• Coordinate with government representatives to identify requirements, constraints, schedules and workloads.
• Provide recommendations to modernize authorization services policies, procedures, practices, and solutions.
• Produce and maintain documentation in support of life-cycle hardware maintenance and related processes.
• Draft technical solutions to enhance, modernize, and improve all IT infrastructure services with Government approvals.
• Evaluate applications for requirements, capabilities, languages, and other characteristics to prepare for migration of systems.
• Provide collaboration and information sharing tools to enable outreach, training, and awareness of client activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with implementation in ServiceNow
• Certified System Administrator Certification from ServiceNow
• Certified Implementation Specialist in Integrated Risk Management OR Governance, Risk and Compliance.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Shall have a minimum of Twenty (20) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.

Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree

EDUCATION

A Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related professional engineering discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Compensation

We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
