Jobot is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a large-scale deployment in a customer-facing environment. This role requires strong infrastructure experience, problem solving, and excellent communication to coordinate across Operations, Software Engineering, and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for customers by responding to operational questions, incidents, and technical issues.
• Support and maintain Network Video Recorder (NVR) and video management systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and communication issues.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and change control processes.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance across Linux, Windows, and COTS applications.
• Monitor and support containerized applications and infrastructure environments.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering and QA teams to test, validate, and deploy new products and enhancements.
• Deliver operational and technical training to end users and operations staff.
• Assess system performance and identify opportunities for operational improvements and technology enhancements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems during off-hours.

Overview We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support a large-scale technology deployment in a customer-facing environment. This individual will serve as a key technical resource responsible for system performance, operational support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and client engagement. The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure and systems administration experience with excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset. This role requires someone who can independently manage priorities, solve complex technical issues, and work collaboratively across Operations, Software Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for customers by responding to operational questions, incidents, and technical issues.
• Support and maintain Network Video Recorder (NVR) and video management systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and communication issues.

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with video streaming technologies and protocols, including:
  • RTSP
  • WebRTC
  • ONVIF
• Experience supporting mission-critical or 24x7 operational environments.
• Exposure to software deployment, testing, and release management processes.
