Job summary

MedaHealth Associates is a Tampa-based health and life insurance brokerage expanding its digital footprint. We seek a skilled developer to serve as the go-to resource for updating sites, building an internal portal, and creating new systems to support brand growth.

You will collaborate with the President and leadership to deliver high-quality, secure software, modernize portals, and lead automation efforts while integrating AI tools like Claude into our development process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in web development and building internal tools or portals.
• Strong fundamentals; you can write, debug, and architect code independently.
• Portfolio of past work is required to apply.
• Available during business hours and able to commute to Tampa for weekly meetings.

Responsibilities

• Execute edits and updates to the website as needed.
• Design and build a unified internal portal consolidating tools, resources, and workflows.
• Modernize the look and functionality of the existing portal.
• Build new landing pages and microsites.
• Advise on internal portals, secure databases, and automations as needs grow.
• Be a fast, dependable resource for urgent developments.
• Guide the team in using AI tools like Claude in development processes.

MedaHealth Associates is Tampa Bay's most innovative health and life insurance brokerage, with offices in Downtown Tampa, Downtown St. Petersburg, Orlando, Brandon, and Fort Lauderdale. We're looking for a skilled developer to be our go-to resource for everything online — from updates to our current sites to full portal build-outs and new internal systems. Must be proficient with Ai and Claude.

The Role

This is a flexible hybrid role for someone who is highly skilled, responsive, and can deliver quality work. You'll work closely with our President and leadership team to build out and maintain our internal portals and systems, develop new projects that support our brand growth, and be a go-to resource as our technology needs expand.

What You Will Do

• Execute edits and updates to our website as needed
• Design and build a unified internal portal that brings together our scattered tools, resources, and workflows into one clean, central system
• Modernize and increase functionality of the look and feel of our existing portal
• Build new and basic landing pages and microsites
• Advise on and help build internal portals, secure database, and automations as our technology needs grow
• Be a fast, dependable resource when things need to move quickly
• Help guide the team's use of AI tools like Claude as part of our development process

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in web development and building internal tools or portals
• Strong technical fundamentals — you can write, debug, and architect code independently
• Experience with databases and automations, or a strong ability to learn quickly
• Available and responsive during business hours, able to commute to Tampa for weekly meetings
• Self-sufficient, self-motivated to grow within the department
