Job summary

WESTconsin Credit Union is hiring for a role focused on configuring and optimizing enterprise systems to support member services and internal operations. You will work closely with business units to ensure systems meet strategic priorities and compliance requirements.

You’ll lead or participate in projects as a SME, implement advanced configurations, and map workflows for secure, efficient processes. Strong collaboration, documentation, and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Understands the credit union’s strategic direction and ensures systems configuration aligns with WESTconsin’s priorities.
• Partners with business unit leaders to configure systems to support their requirements.
• Tracks and manages documents in the electronic document management system; designs metadata, workflows, and tags for staff.
• Leads or participates in projects as SME for system applications and implements advanced configurations for efficient processes.
• Accepts document delivery, maps fields for efficiency, implements workflows, tests live environments, and communicates changes to users.
• Performs navigation configuration, script implementation, and database configuration in system environments; assists other units with changes.
• Recommends and implements system configurations that ensure data security and integrity in line with policies and audits.
• Collaborates with third parties for issue resolution, testing, implementation, and enhancements.
• Provides after-hours support for upgrades, patches, or investigations.
• Manages multiple projects and shifts priorities to meet deadlines.
• Delivers training using adult learning principles and change management techniques.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 4 years experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Understands the credit union’s strategic direction and ensures systems configuration and processes continue to align with WESTconsin’s strategic priorities
• Partners with business unit leaders to ensure the systems are configured to support their requirements
• Tracks and manages documents within the electronic document management system; designs the system, assigns metadata, develops workflows and creates tags for credit union staff
• Leads or participates in projects and process improvements as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for system applications and implements advanced configurations in support of efficient processes for our employees and members
• Accepts delivery of documents, maps fields for efficiency, implements workflows, tests live production environments, and communicates changes to users
• Completes navigation configuration, script implementation, and database configuration in system application environments. Assists other business units as applicable with these changes.
• Recommends and implements system configurations that ensure data security and integrity, while in compliance with policies, procedures, and internal and external assessments and audits
• Partners with third parties for issue resolution, system testing, product implementation, and system enhancements
• Provides afterhours support as needed for system upgrades, patches, or issue investigation
• Manages multiple projects concurrently and shifts priorities as required to meet business requirements and deadlines
• Delivers training using appropriate adult learning principles, instructional methods, and change management techniques. Identifies and accommodates, where possible, special training needs

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and four years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Ability to make sound business decisions with consideration to end users, regulation or compliance requirements, and member experience
