Job summary

Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University seeks a System Analyst to support housing technology operations for students and staff. You will oversee customer support, software systems, and IT services to ensure reliable campus housing technology.

The role covers Help Desk leadership, software integrations, and system management using Jamf, Intune, AD/Azure, and related platforms. Telecommuting up to 1 day per week is allowed after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of network basics, VLANs, VPNs, and Firewalls.
• Familiarity with ITSM, ticketing, data formats (JSON/XML/CSV), and REST/SOAP APIs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Help Desk and RezCon operations, including scheduling, recruitment, and onboarding of student staff.
• Manage integrations, updates, and support for StarRez, TMA, CBORD, RezLife, and other OHA applications.
• Provide technical support for system configurations, upgrades, and operational projects.
