Job summary

San Diego State University is seeking a System Analyst to support housing technology operations within the Office of Housing Administration. This role oversees customer support, software systems, and staff to ensure reliable services for residents and employees.

You will manage Help Desk, integrations with StarRez and other OHA apps, device management with Jamf/Intune, and coordinate technology projects while mentoring staff. Telecommuting up to 1 day weekly.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
• Advanced degree may substitute for the required experience.
• Experience with campus IT and housing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Help Desk and RezCon operations, including scheduling, recruitment, training, and onboarding of student staff.
• Troubleshoot network and technology issues; support staff and residential technology needs.
• Manage integrations, updates, and support for StarRez, TMA, CBORD, RezLife, and other OHA applications.
• Support device and system management with Jamf, Intune, Active Directory, Azure, Remote Desktop.
• Provide lead work direction to technology support staff and coordinate equipment, printing services, and special technology projects.
• Collaborate with campus IT partners on system integrations and technology solutions.
