Qualifications

• Knowledge of software design principles, including workflow analysis, data modeling, and UI design.
• Knowledge of change management, source control, and revision tracking.
• Ability to solve complex business problems with hardware/software capacity and deadlines in mind.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, reporting and analytics tools, software implementation and support.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model digital engagement processes to document current procedures and identify improvements.
• Conduct discovery, surveys, and data analysis to determine Dallas College needs.
• Keep management and users informed about software modifications and workflow issues.
• Stay current with industry standards and Dallas College policies through professional development.
• Evaluate user requirements and enhancements for software applications; test and document changes.
• Document data processing specifications including system design and user interfaces.
• Create and revise test plans; participate in system testing and conversions.
• Adhere to district guidelines and procedures.
• Map processes; evaluate requirements and software enhancements for admin/educational apps.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to improve digital engagement across the College.
• Assist users with requirements and advice on alternatives and implications.
• Assist with patches, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
