Job summary

You will collaborate with DTMB teams, Vanderbilt REDCap support, and security teams to ensure a secure, reliable REDCap environment with HIPAA audit logging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
• 5+ years of PHP Microservices development and MySQL experience.
• 5+ years of PHP configuration and troubleshooting.
• 5+ years of Python scripting for data loading and queries.
• 5+ years of RESTful API design/development and AWS hosting.

Responsibilities

• Support the REDCap application hosted in AWS with user/project management, reports and surveys.
• Coordinate REDCap updates and version upgrades with Vanderbilt University.
• Install and support REDCap External Modules using PHP on Linux/AWS (Apache/Nginx).
• Develop and troubleshoot REDCap APIs and automate data flows.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for REDCap-related issues.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance, audit logging, and security best practices.
• Coordinate with vendors, DBAs, security teams and business users.
• Prepare data loading scripts to REDCap databases via tools or APIs.
