Job summary

Zenfreed, LLC is partnering with the State of Michigan to source an experienced REDCap Application Administrator/Application Support Specialist. The role delivers operational and technical support for an existing REDCap environment hosted on AWS, including administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, user support, vendor coordination, and integration to ensure a secure, reliable platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in REDCap administration, support, and integration.
• Experience with REDCap API integration and External Modules implementation.
• Experience supporting enterprise web apps on AWS.
• Experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting RESTful APIs.
• Experience with OIDC/SAML integration and HIPAA/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical support for REDCap on AWS.
• Install, configure, and support REDCap External Modules using PHP.
• Manage REDCap API integrations and data automation workflows.
• Coordinate updates, patches, and upgrades with Vanderbilt REDCap support.
• Maintain security, authentication, and audit logging per standards.
