Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking an experienced System Analyst to maintain and enhance a REDCap-based system hosted on AWS in Lansing, Michigan. You will manage user access, APIs, data flows, and system upgrades while coordinating with Vanderbilt and security teams.

The role requires PHP/MySQL expertise, AWS experience, and strong scripting abilities to ensure a secure, available platform and robust disaster recovery support.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience with PHP Microservices development and troubleshooting.
• Five or more years of experience with MySQL database management.
• Five or more years of experience with PHP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Five or more years of experience with Python scripting for loading and querying data.
• Five or more years of experience designing and troubleshooting RESTful APIs.
• Five or more years of experience supporting enterprise web applications on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Support REDCap on AWS with user/project management, reports and surveys.
• Coordinate REDCap software updates, patches, and upgrades with Vanderbilt University.
• Install, configure, and support REDCap External Modules using PHP on Linux/AWS (Apache/Nginx).
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot REDCap API integrations and automate data flows.
• Serve as primary technical contact for REDCap-related issues.
