Systems Analyst – Contract

We’re looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to provide analytical and technical support, working to define business and system requirements, develop or maintain applications, and deliver solutions that align with both IT and organizational goals. In this role, you’ll bring both technical know-how and strategic thinking to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile environments, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Demonstrate understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and apply its principles
• Review, validate, and test functionality of application updates and new implementations
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including iteration planning, team syncs/standups, and retrospectives
• Work with external vendors to resolve technical issues and support project initiatives
• Create and maintain system documentation and support end-user training efforts
• Assist with system integration tasks and generate reports based on business needs
• Provide second-level support for application issues, escalating when necessary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or similar role
• Experience with Agile methodologies, familiarity with SAFe framework preferred
• Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Healthcare experience a plus

Work Environment

• Remote work from home
• Hours generally Monday through Friday, specific hours depend on client needs

Physical Demands

• Remain stationary 50% of the time
• Occasionally move inside the office to access files, equipment, etc.
• Operate computer and office machinery
• Communicate with clients and coworkers effectively
