Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

We are a client-focused Cloud and Managed Services Providernear Long Beach, CA is hiring a System Administratorwith strong Tier 2–2.5 experience to support and lead a mix of project and escalation work across cloud, server, and virtualization technologies. If you’ve worked in an MSP environment and want to deepen your skills in infrastructure and Microsoft cloud solutions, this is a strong opportunity.

This is a hybrid role based near Long Beach, CA with two work-from-home day per week. You will join a collaborative engineering team and have the chance to take on light project work with mentorship and guidance from senior engineers. This role is ideal for someone who’s comfortable owning tickets end-to-end, assisting with deployments, and stepping into project work with guidance from senior engineers. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure solutions are implemented smoothly and securely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with and lead deployment projects involving Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure
• Provide Tier 2+ support for cloud, virtualization, and network issues
• Troubleshoot escalated technical issues across servers, desktops, and cloud platforms
• Support configuration and maintenance of VMware or Hyper-V environments
• Assist with firewall setups and network security improvements
• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and help deliver effective solutions

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years working for a Managed Services Provider
• Strong experience of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Intune, SharePoint)
• Strong experience with Azure and virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
• Familiarity with firewalls, backup tools, and RMM/PSA platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• A desire to grow into larger project work and eventually take on more client-facing ownership
