System Administrator | MSP

Location: Downtown Houston, TX

Industry Experience Required: Managed Services Provider (MSP)

We’re looking for a driven System Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced MSP environment and wants more than just ticket-taking. This is a hands-on support role with a clear path to project work, advanced technical responsibilities, and engineering-level growth. Whether you’re solving user issues or shadowing complex infrastructure work, you’ll be building the skills to take the next step in your career — with mentorship and training to help you get there.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to inbound client requests via phone, email, and PSA system, meeting SLA expectations
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, Office 365, email, printers, and basic networking
• Accurately document all troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and time entries in RMM/PSA tools
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with clean documentation and recommendations
• Assist with user onboarding: system setup, account creation, permissions
• Perform proactive maintenance: patching, antivirus, backups, and routine health checks
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours support
• Support internal knowledge base creation and maintenance
• Attend team meetings and stay sharp through ongoing training

• Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra, basic networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
