Job summary

Themis Insight seeks an experienced System Administrator (Enterprise Infrastructure) to support the company’s critical infrastructure in Laurel, MD. The role involves delivering system administration solutions, creating bills of materials, and producing network designs and diagrams for new and updated installations.

Responsibilities include collaborating with network, storage, and server teams to design, implement, and optimize complex systems, ensuring capacity meets user demands while planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and five (5) years’ SA experience required.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level I or higher required.
• At least one year of experience with modern OS and network architectures.
• At least one year of experience in certification and accreditation, architecture development, risk assessments and IA metrics gathering.
• Ability to optimize system operation and resource utilization and perform capacity planning.
• Ability to break down complex problem space and devise technical strategies with action plans.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise infrastructure system administration solutions and create BOMs, network designs, and diagrams.
• Collaborate with network, storage, and server personnel to define new or modified solutions.
• Respond to requests for new systems to meet capacity and user requirements.
• Determine power, space, cooling, and funding needed to meet goals.
