Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is seeking a System Administrator to support enterprise systems and geospatial platforms for Operations and Sustainment activities.

You will install, patch, monitor, and troubleshoot across Windows/Linux environments, support GIS workflows, and collaborate with cybersecurity teams to improve reliability and security. This role may involve supervising junior staff and contributing to disaster recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience administering and supporting IT systems, applications, or infrastructure.
• Experience with ESRI GIS platforms and supporting GIS environments.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain security clearance as required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, monitor, and support enterprise systems and infrastructure.
• Provide operational support for geospatial platforms and applications (ESRI, MapView, CFATS).
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and servers.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system integration issues.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, DBAs, and cybersecurity teams for enhancements.
• Support cybersecurity requirements, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
• Assist in disaster recovery, backup, and continuity of operations.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and contractors performing operational activities.
