Job Description:

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Information Technology is seeking candidates for the temporary contractor position of System Administrator Automation in Atlanta, Georgia.

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator Automation with expertise in Ansible, GitHub, LoadRunner, and LeapWork to join our team. This role will focus on managing and optimizing automation and testing tools, ensuring streamlined integration across development, testing, and operations teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in automating processes, managing version control, and driving the performance of automation and testing tools.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Configure and manage tools such as Ansible, Leapwork, LoadRunner, and GitHub leveraged by Infrastructure and Application team.
  2. Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and roles for automating IT infrastructure and application deployments.
  3. Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to automate configuration management, software deployments, and cloud provisioning. Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance Ansible playbooks for performance and reliability.
  4. Manage GitHub repositories, ensuring best practices for version control, collaboration, and pull request workflows.
  5. Implement access controls, branch protection, and security policies to maintain repository integrity.
  6. Integrate GitHub with CI/CD tools to automate code deployment and testing.
  7. Configure, monitor, and maintain LoadRunner environments for performance and load testing.
  8. Develop and execute LoadRunner test scripts to ensure application scalability and reliability.
  9. Analyze LoadRunner test results to identify bottlenecks and recommend performance improvements.
  10. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement performance testing strategies using LoadRunner and Leapwork.
  11. Integrate Ansible, GitHub, LoadRunner, and LeapWork with other tools to create efficient end-to-end automation pipelines.
  12. Provide ongoing support for all tools, ensuring smooth operation and resolving issues that arise within the automation and testing environments.
  13. Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track automation progress, test results, and performance metrics.
  14. Stay updated with the latest developments in the tools and technologies to recommend and implement improvements.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an administrator or similar role with Ansible, LoadRunner, Leapwork, and GitHub.
  3. Strong understanding of automation, performance testing, and version control concepts.
  4. Ansible Certified Administrator.
  5. GitHub Advanced Security or related certifications.
  6. LoadRunner certification or performance testing certification.
  7. LeapWork certification or experience in advanced LeapWork automation scenarios.
  8. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is a plus.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  10. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
