Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

System Administrator (Windows & DevOps)

Compensation: 90.000 - 100.000 (Based on Experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a System Administrator with a strong background in Windows Server Administration, PowerShell scripting, and DevOps processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and securing Windows-based infrastructure, supporting in-house applications, and automating deployments in a DevOps pipeline environment.

This role requires an organized, detail-oriented professional who can follow directions, work independently, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Windows Server Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Windows Server 2019 and related services.
  2. PowerShell Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline system administration tasks.
  3. Application Support: Provide technical support for in-house developed applications, preferably .NET-based.
  4. Azure Automation & DevOps: Deploy, manage, and optimize automation workflows in Azure.
  5. Code Deployment & CI/CD: Support DevOps pipelines for seamless deployment of applications.
  6. Security & Compliance: Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities within the infrastructure.
  7. On-Call Rotation: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours support as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. 7 + years of experience in Windows Server Administration (2016/2019).
  2. Mid-Level PowerShell Scripting experience for automation and administration.
  3. Experience in DevOps deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and Azure Automation.
  4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  5. Experience remediating security vulnerabilities in Windows environments.
  6. Ability to follow structured processes and documentation.
  7. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Have Experience
  1. Supporting .NET applications built by an in-house development team.
  2. Experience with Azure services and cloud-based automation.
  3. Familiarity with F5 administration or other load balancing tools.
  4. Exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
