Are you a team-oriented Synthetic Chemist interested in developing new materials in the exciting field of electronic materials? Join a team focused on lithographic materials for advanced semiconductor patterning. This laboratory-based role involves synthesis, purification, and characterization of polymers and small molecules. Detail-oriented candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Organic Synthesis: Collaborate with senior scientists to synthesize polymers and small molecules from laboratory to kilogram scale.
• Product Characterization: Use analytical techniques to ensure product quality.
• Documentation: Record experiments meticulously and assist in preparing technology transfer documentation.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and manage chemical inventories.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry, or equivalent experience in polymer chemistry and organic synthesis.
• Technical Skills: Experience with laboratory techniques such as reaction setups, filtration, distillation, crystallization, and analytical methods like GPC, HPLC, NMR, MS, UV/VIS, FT-IR, TLC, GC-MS.
• Team Skills: Strong organizational skills, accurate documentation, good communication, and team collaboration.

Safety Focus: Proven safe laboratory practices with the ability to assess safety risks in multigram-scale organic synthesis.
