Job summary

S&P Global seeks a Senior Operations Specialist, Syndicated Loans Agency Operations to lead a team responsible for the lifecycle events of syndicated loans, coordinating with borrowers, lenders and syndicate members. You will apply SME level knowledge and ensure compliance with loan agreements.

The role requires strong client service, 3+ years in agent-side syndicated loan operations, and demonstrated leadership of at least three staff.

Qualifications

• Agent-side syndicated loan operations: 3+ years supporting operations and loan administration.
• Strong client-facing experience via phone and email with borrowers, lenders and stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership with at least three direct reports and coaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute operational requirements to manage lifecycle events of syndicated loans.
• Provide SME-level support to junior staff on complex deals and portfolios.
• Interpret legal documents to ensure compliance with terms.
• Support projects and initiatives to enhance the Agent Services product offering.
• Respond to client, borrower and lender queries in a timely manner.
• Perform financial analysis to verify accruals and pricing mechanics.
• Manage outstanding work items in line with KPIs.
• Maintain high accuracy to minimize operational risk in the loan portfolio.
