The Company in London is looking for a Symfony developer to join our app development studio. You will help create back-end APIs and services for consumer-facing apps used by 100,000s of users. We emphasize high quality, maintainable code, PHP 8.5, Symfony 8.0 and static analysis.

Our office is in central London with hybrid days and remote work options. You will join a collaborative team and contribute to exciting projects across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Symfony development experience, minimum 1 year.
• Database design and Doctrine ORM usage with performance focus.
• REST API design principles and modern PHP coding.
• Git version control proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Turn product designs and specs into APIs used by front-end apps.
• Follow internal processes, standards and coding practices.
• Refactor and maintain existing projects as needed.
• Participate in project planning and report progress.
• Investigate and resolve bugs reported by users or clients.
• Submit work as Pull Requests and respond to reviews.
• Provide feedback to improve processes and practices.
