Job summary

Batgroup, the company behind Batmaid and PFA / Putzfrau.ch, seeks a skilled PHP Developer to join our Warsaw-based engineering team on a hybrid basis. You will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and backend services used by customers and cleaning teams, collaborating across product, data, and operations.

We practice AI-assisted development to accelerate routine tasks while maintaining clean architecture, sound problem-solving, and high-quality code.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on PHP experience.
• Clear, understandable, maintainable code writing.
• Confidence writing tests: unit, integration, and end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications and backend services in PHP and Symfony.
• Write clear, well-tested, maintainable code with tests across the stack.
• Apply SOLID principles and object-oriented design to keep systems clean as they scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into working software.
• Use AI-assisted development to raise speed and quality of delivery.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and raise engineering standards.
