Job summary

Toast is seeking Field Implementation Technicians to join our team locally, with the ability to travel to restaurants for on-site installations and training.

You will learn the Toast POS system, install hardware, configure networking equipment, and collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for each restaurant. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with flexibility in hours and travel.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to train restaurant staff and explain systems clearly.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 100% and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Toast POS system and become a product expert.
• Install & configure Toast hardware and networking devices including POS terminals, handhelds, printers, and other peripherals.
• Collaborate with internal Toast teams to find diverse business solutions for restaurants.
• Conduct on-site training with restaurant staff to optimize Toast POS.
• Maintain and document implementation plans and network diagrams.
• Test and troubleshoot networking issues; terminate Ethernet cables if needed.
