We are seeking a hands-on SX.e Business Systems Analyst with strong experience in on-premise Infor SX.e and practical knowledge of Infor CloudSuite Distribution (CSD). This role will support and optimize our current Progress-based SX.e environment while helping plan and execute our transition to CSD.

The ideal candidate will be an SX.e expert who understands how its functionality translates to CSD. This individual will support immediate operational needs, advise on future-state processes, participate in the CSD implementation, and provide ongoing support after go-live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the functional configuration of our on-premise SX.e environment, including user permissions, warehouse logic, business rules, and module setup.
  • Support daily distribution, inventory, order management, purchasing, and financial operations.
  • Analyze and improve Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, inventory, warehouse, and financial workflows.
  • Troubleshoot transaction errors, data discrepancies, integration failures, and configuration issues.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, configurations, integrations, or system enhancements.
  • Support the CSD implementation lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, training, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Evaluate existing SX.e customizations and determine whether they should be replaced by standard CSD functionality, redesigned, or retained through integrations or extensions.
  • Advise business and IT leadership on CSD capabilities, implementation decisions, dependencies, risks, and best practices.
  • Lead functional and regression testing for patches, upgrades, custom deployments, integrations, and CSD releases.
  • Support integrations with EDI, WMS, credit card processing, banking, e-commerce, and other third-party platforms.
  • Maintain system and data integrity and support reporting through CyberQuery, Progress Results, SQL-based tools, and CSD reporting capabilities.
  • Develop process documentation, functional specifications, test scripts, SOPs, and end-user training materials.
  • Serve as the primary functional SME and liaison among business users, IT, Infor, and implementation partners.
  • Provide ongoing functional administration and support for CSD following go-live.

Required Qualifications

  • Three or more years of direct experience supporting on-premise Infor SX.e in a wholesale distribution or industrial supply environment.
  • Strong functional knowledge of core SX.e modules, including Inventory Control, Order Entry, Purchase Orders, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
  • Experience participating in an Infor CSD implementation, migration, upgrade, or optimization initiative.
  • Understanding of how legacy, Progress-based SX.e processes and configurations translate to CSD.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process design, configuration, data validation, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
  • Familiarity with the Progress OpenEdge database environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when diagnosing transaction failures and data discrepancies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • End-to-end experience migrating from on-premise SX.e to Infor CSD.
  • Experience with Infor OS, role-based security, workflows, APIs, reporting, and other CSD platform capabilities.
  • Experience integrating SX.e or CSD with EDI, WMS, payment processors, banking systems, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience with data conversion, interface validation, user acceptance testing, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Knowledge of distribution processes such as pricing, replenishment, allocation, warehouse transfers, inventory valuation, and order fulfillment.
  • Experience with Progress 4GL/ABL, SQL, or Linux/Unix administration.
