Job summary

PowerSecure, a Southern Company subsidiary, seeks a Product Quality Team Lead to oversee day-to-day Quality Control for Phase 1–3 processes, ensuring compliance with pre-approved standards and NEC/UL requirements. You will lead Level 1–Senior QC Technicians, providing resources for product development and customer witness tests.

Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, maintaining schedules, enforcing safety, and coordinating a team in a manufacturing environment with potential limited travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• NFPA70E is required (PowerSecure can provide if other requirements are satisfactory).
• Minimum 2 years' experience inspecting or testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, work instructions, and written directions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day quality control operations across Phase 1–3 functions.
• Monitor budgeted utilization rates and labor efficiency.
• Maintain organized work areas and ensure adherence to Quality Management System.
• Provide performance feedback and training to technicians on a regular schedule.
• Maintain and document results of Technician Procedures and Nonconformances.
