Job summary

PowerSecure is seeking a Product Quality Team Lead to manage Phase 1–3 Quality Control activities, lead technicians, and ensure products meet NEC/UL and design standards. The role involves coordinating resources for development, testing, and customer witness events in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have experience in switchgear quality control, ERP systems, and strong communication skills, with an emphasis on safety and process improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• NFPA70E certification may be provided by PowerSecure if other requirements are satisfactory.
• Minimum 2 years' experience inspecting or testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Ability to use a computer and enter information in database.
• Strong math for unit conversions and data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Legally allowed to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Phase 1–3 Quality Control operations.
• Monitor budgeted utilization rates and technician KPIs.
• Maintain organized and functioning work areas.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System.
• Provide performance feedback and training to technicians.
• Ensure nonconformances are documented per procedures and ERP shop orders.
• Maintain safe work practices and train staff as needed.
• Operate and move equipment; assist with testing and measurements.
