Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Product Quality Control Manager to lead the Switchgear and PowerGen quality teams at the Durham, NC campus. You will ensure conformance to design documents, drive continuous improvement, and manage quality programs across production and field commissioning.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of electrical equipment, and experience with ERP systems. Local travel may be involved, with a focus on right-the-first-time quality and customer

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in quality assurance and/or product testing
• 2+ years’ direct management experience
• Experience with electrical switchgear and reciprocating engine-generator sets
• Able to read electrical and mechanical assembly drawings and related symbols
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (SAP or IFS preferred)
• Strong commitment to right-the-first-time quality
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Quality Control team for Switchgear and PowerGen at DI Campus.
• Ensure quality reports are shared with Production, Engineering and QA leadership.
• Drive defect reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain feedback loops to identify and correct defects in production processes.
• Participate in internal quality system audits.
• Monitor budgets and ensure timely decisions on non-conformities
