Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. seeks a Product Quality Team Lead in Raleigh, NC to manage daily Phase 1–3 Quality Control operations for switchgear production. You will oversee Level 1–Senior Technicians, provide coaching, and align activities with NEC/UL standards and PowerSecure procedures.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on QA, and collaboration with engineering and production teams to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables. Ability to read drawings and work with ERP is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and NFPA70E may be provided by PowerSecure.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience inspecting or testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings and instructions.
• Experience using ERP systems and entering data in databases.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Phase 1–3 Quality Control operations.
• Monitor budgets, labor efficiency, and KPIs.
• Provide training and performance feedback to technicians.
• Ensure nonconformances are addressed and documented.
• Maintain shop orders in ERP and ensure proper documentation.
• Ensure safety practices and clean, organized work areas.
