McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Part-time Switchboard Operator to manage the Cisco Phone system, handle patient and staff calls, monitor alarms, and support after-hours communications for McLaren Lapeer Region. Shift Times: 6am-2:30pm, 1pm-9:30pm, 9:30pm-6am
Operates the call attendant- Cisco Phone System, handles patient, physician and all other incoming calls to McLaren Lapeer Region. Monitors the alarms and answers the emergency phone lines in the Communications area. Uses various Communication platforms to notify physicians and staff members as needed. Answers calls for MHG satellites (Hospice, Home Care and Infusion) after hours. Processes and delivers all forms and central copy jobs, as needed for departments. Performs central copy and mailroom functions. Delivers mail, test results, medical records and informational data to all departments. Delivers and exchanges patient telephones and other communication equipment as needed for departments. Assists with various communication and other department projects.
