Job summary

Meador Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Swiss lathe programmer to join our precision machining team in Ohio. You will program, set up, and optimize Swiss lathes for high-precision components while interpreting complex drawings and specifications.

Collaboration with quality control and engineering is essential to drive continuous improvement. Starting pay is competitive; benefits include health insurance, a 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proven experience programming and setting up CNC Swiss lathes (Citizen experience highly preferred).
• Strong knowledge of G-code, CNC machining principles, and precision manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and optimize CNC Swiss lathes (Citizen machines) for complex, high-precision parts.

• Select tooling, perform machine setups, and make offsets/adjustments for production.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, run test parts, and ensure tight tolerances and quality.
• Collaborate with machinists, quality control, and engineering teams to improve processes.
• Maintain documentation including programs, setup sheets, and tool lists.
