Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks an experienced engineer to run turnkey CNC projects, deliver on-site demonstrations, and coordinate customer training to ensure success.

You will assess opportunities, prepare turnkey proposals, and provide cost estimates while maintaining safety and quality standards across Swiss-type lathes, CNC centers, and multi-tasking machines.

Travel to customer sites for hands-on training is expected as part of delivering comprehensive engineering support.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing.
• Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
• Knowledge of Fanuc based controls, 5-axis experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software, preferred but not required.
• Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.

Responsibilities

• Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer related projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal
• Developing/ implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/ or multi-tasking machines
• Conducts training of customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines.
• Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Travel to customers for on site training and engineering assistance.
