Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks an experienced CNC project engineer to lead turnkey demonstrations and customer engagements in Minnesota. You will run projects on time and within budget, perform pre-sale assessments, and develop turnkey proposals while helping customers set up and safely operate CNC machines.

The role includes cost estimation, engineering reporting, and on-site training across Swiss-style and multi-axis CNC centers, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and product lines.
• Knowledge of Fanuc based controls; 5-axis experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software; preferred but not required.
• Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.

Responsibilities

• Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer related projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal.
• Developing/ implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe setup and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/ or multi-tasking machines
• Conducts training of customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines.
• Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Travel to customers for on site training and engineering assistance.
