Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks an experienced engineering professional to lead turnkey CNC projects and demonstrations, and to conduct pre-sale activities for customer opportunities. You will develop demonstrations and train customers in safe setup and operation of CNC centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss lathes, and multi-tasking machines.

The role requires creating accurate cost estimates, writing reports, and interpreting plans.

Qualifications

Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool engineering.
In-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
Knowledge of Fanuc based controls; 5-axis experience is a plus.
Experience with CAD/CAM software is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer related projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal
Developing/ implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/ or multi-tasking machines
Conducts training of customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines.
Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
Travel to customers for on site training and engineering assistance.
