Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks an engineering professional to lead turnkey demonstrations and on-site training for CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and multitasking machines. You will run projects from evaluation to proposal, deliver safe setup guidance, and travel to customer sites to assist installation and commissioning.

This role requires hands-on CNC machine tool experience, knowledge of Fanuc controls, CAD/CAM software, and the ability to quickly assess situations

Qualifications

• Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool engineering and manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls; 5-axis experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and conversational programming.
• Able to think quickly, assess a situation and decide.

Responsibilities

• Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer related projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal.
• Developing/ implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/ or multi-tasking machines.
• Conducts training of customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines.
• Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Travel to customers for on site training and engineering assistance.
