Job summary

Morris Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Applications Engineer to support customers with Swiss-style and multi‑tasking machines in a fast‑paced industrial setting. You will run turnkey projects, perform pre‑sale evaluations, and develop custom demonstrations while training customers on machine tools.

The role requires strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, 5‑axis experience is a plus, CAD/CAM familiarity, and the ability to travel to client sites for hands-on support and training.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool engineering.
• 6+ years in an engineering role within machine tool industry.
• Knowledge of Fanuc controls; 5-axis experience is a plus.
• Familiar with CAD/CAM software and interpreting technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Run turnkey projects and demonstrations for customers, on time and within budget.
• Perform pre‑sale activities including machine assessments and turnkey proposals.
• Develop and implement custom demonstrations and train customers on CNC machining centers.
• Provide cost estimates, write engineering reports, and review plans.
• Travel to customer sites for onsite training and engineering support.
