Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is seeking an engineer with expertise in CNC machining to manage turnkey projects and training initiatives. The position involves running customer-related projects, conducting pre-sale reviews, and developing custom demonstrations for machine operation.

Qualified candidates will have experience in Swiss CNC machine tools, along with knowledge of Fanuc controls and CAD/CAM software. The role includes traveling to client sites for training and engineering support.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines.
• Knowledge of Fanuc based controls; 5-axis experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and conversational programming.
• Ability to assess a situation and make sound decisions quickly.

Duties

• Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer related projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal
• Developing/ implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/ or multi-tasking machines
• Conducts training of customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines.
• Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Travel to customers for on site training and engineering assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing
• Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company
• Knowledge of Fanuc based controls, 5-axis experience is a plus
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and conversational programming
• Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.
