Job summary

Morris Group, Inc., a leading machine tool distributor in North America, seeks a CNC Applications Engineer to serve manufacturers of precision parts. You will use advanced instruments and engineering knowledge to run and process parts on Tsugami machine tools, meeting customer needs in an industrial environment.

The role includes leading turnkey projects, pre-sale reviews, demonstrations, and customer training on CNC lathes, Swiss-style lathes, and multi-tasking machines, with travel to client

Qualifications

• Experience with Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool engineering and manufacturing.
• Understanding of CNC lathe processes and tooling applications.
• Knowledge of Fanuc-based controls; 5-axis experience is a plus.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run turnkey projects, demos, and customer projects within budget and on time.
• Conduct pre-sale activities including customer visits, opportunity evaluation, and turnkey proposals.
• Develop/customize demonstrations and train customers on CNC lathes, Swiss lathes, and multi-tasking machines.
• Train customers on safe setup and operation of CNC machines.
