Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a skilled engineer to manage turnkey projects and train customers on CNC machining centers, lathes, and grinders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine tool engineering and a detailed understanding of CNC operations. Duties include conducting pre-sale activities, making cost estimates, and ensuring project completion on budget.

Experience with Fanuc controls and CAD/CAM software is advantageous. Candidates should be able to make quick decisions and demonstrate exceptional training skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry.
• 5-axis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Running turnkey projects to ensure completion on time and within budget.
• Conducting pre-sale activities including customer visits and evaluations.
• Developing and implementing custom demonstrations for CNC machines.
• Training customers on machine setup and operation.
• Making accurate cost estimates and writing engineering reports.
• Traveling to customers for on-site training and engineering assistance.

Skills

Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing

Knowledge of Fanuc based controls

CAD/CAM software experience

Job description

• Running turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer related projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
• Conducting pre-sale activities and reviews including customer visits, evaluation of opportunities, machine assessment and recommendations, part processing recommendations and development of turnkey proposal
• Developing/ implementing custom demonstrations and training customers in the safe set up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/ or multi-tasking machines
• Conducts training of customers in the safe set-up and operation of CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, Swiss style lathes and/or multi-tasking machines.
• Making accurate cost estimates, writing engineering reports, and interpreting plans and specifications
• Travel to customers for on site training and engineering assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sliding Headstock (Swiss) CNC machine tool related engineering and manufacturing
• Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company
• Knowledge of Fanuc based controls, 5-axis experience is a plus
• Experience with CAD/CAM software and conversational programming
• Able to think quickly, assess a situation and make a sound decision.
