nLIGHT, Inc. in Camas, WA, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor II to lead swing-shift production in a high-volume environment. You will ensure safety, coach employees, and drive efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating across engineering, quality, equipment, and HR.

This onsite role requires Lean/5S expertise, strong problem-solving, and the ability to manage a team of 20+. You will run daily meetings, mentor staff, and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Three+ years in manufacturing leadership with direct reports.
• Five+ years in high-volume or complex manufacturing with hands-on problem solving.
• Experience leading teams of 20+ and coordinating across functions.
• Proficiency in Lean, 5S, root-cause analysis, and standard work.
• Experience with cross-functional coordination across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and HR.

Responsibilities

• Leads swing-shift operations and oversees 20+ manufacturing staff.
• Maintains a safe, inclusive, and compliant workplace; reinforces procedures.
• Reviews priorities, staffing, equipment status, and material availability to meet goals.
• Coordinates across departments to resolve constraints and ensures shift handoffs.
• Leads daily meetings, communicates priorities, and drives performance and accountability.
