Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer for a swing shift in San Jose, CA. This on-site contract role involves assembling, testing, and adjusting complex tools while maintaining strict build processes and safety standards.

You will learn asset setup, participate in 6S practices, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve issues during the build. The position emphasizes growth from internship-like experience into hands-on manufacturing engineering tasks.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-2 years related experience.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering principles.
• Willingness to learn complex system build, test, and troubleshooting methods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Learn the basics of understanding and executing complex system setups.
• Assemble and disassemble complex tools and systems with accuracy and speed.
• Integrate new sub-assemblies into the tool and transition to shipment upon completion.
• Track raw materials and supplies and address shortages promptly.
• Wrap tools or systems for protection.
• Provide feedback on improvement opportunities for assembly methods.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Technicians to resolve issues.
• Execute corrective actions as directed by Manufacturing Engineers.
• Learn to capture and track issues during the build using the Z3 process.
• Participate in 6S to maintain an efficient and safe work environment.
• Share knowledge with team members.
