Job summary

pipestonecareers seeks a Process Improvement Manager to audit sow production protocols and drive efficiency across our farms in Iowa. You will establish a formal auditing process, track improvements, and ensure compliance with policies and industry regulations.

You will analyze processes, implement variations to maximize outcomes, and work with HR to review violations. Travel and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 2-year animal science degree.
• 5+ years in swine industry.
• Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an auditing process of current production protocols in place at our sow farms.
• Utilizing the auditing mechanism created determine efficiencies and ensure each sow farm is compliant in their process.
• Develop a tracking system to determine inefficiencies and achieve 100% compliance of all processes across the system.
• Supporting and verifying that anyone coming into contact with our pigs are handled, cared for and maintained according to our policy.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of processes in line with industry regulations and implement variations to maximize outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and improve process to maximize outcomes.
• Assist in modifying and updating animal welfare policies and ensure continuous improvement, and monitor the effects of current policies.
• Prepare clear audit observations including workpapers, mobile devices, finding and observations in accordance with auditing procedures.
• Review violations with HR to determine validity and outcome of violation for the employee.
• Self-motivated.
