Qualifications

• 5+ years in swine industry.
• Travel is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an auditing process of current production protocols in place at sow farms.
• Determine efficiencies and ensure each sow farm is compliant in their process.
• Develop a tracking system to determine inefficiencies and achieve 100% compliance across the system.
• Support and verify that anyone coming into contact with pigs are handled, cared for and maintained according to policy.
• Conduct ongoing analysis of processes in line with industry regulations and implement variations to maximize outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and improve processes to maximize outcomes.
• Assist in modifying and updating animal welfare policies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Prepare clear audit observations including workpapers, findings and observations.
• Review violations with HR to determine validity and outcome.
